Following the recent Bush fires on the Gold Coast, many of our native wildlife lost their homes. Recently our GLS boy’s Brett and Clay spent a day high up in the trees installing nest boxes at Canungra. These beautiful nest boxes were donated to Wildcare Australia Inc. they will hopefully provide some wildlife with shelter and a place to nest. A variety of nest boxes were installed suitable for all kinds of wildlife including possums, gliders and birds.
It was heart-warming to see brand new shoots already sprouting from the charred trees in Canungra, we even got some much needed rain on the day!
We would like to thank all of the amazing volunteers at Wildcare for the endless hours spent rescuing wildlife and nursing them back to health for release.
